Profile selfie

Your selfie is your profile photo. Other members can see it according to the photo privacy settings, and our team may review it before it appears. Use the front camera in good light and look at the camera.

Take a selfie with the front camera. Put your face in the oval, then tap Take photo. A steady face can also be captured automatically.

This checks the position and clarity of the photo. It does not prove who you are, and a picture held up to the camera can still pass. Profile verification is a separate review.

Identity card

We use your ID to confirm this profile belongs to a real person. Only administrators can see these photos. They are not shown on your public profile. Photograph the front first, then the back, and match the sample so the whole card is readable.

Take a photo of your document’s photo page with your phone camera.

Accepted documents: driver’s license, passport, ID card. Use the back camera. Fit the whole document inside the frame, with every corner visible.

Prepare a valid document. It should not be expired or damaged.
On a phone, the back camera opens. Hold the document flat.
After the photo page, photograph the back of the document.
